What is Finactiq

Know when to buy, sell, or sit tight

Finactiq is a stock market analysis tool based on a proprietary quantitative model that identifies and tracks price acceleration across three major trends: short, medium, and long term.

  • Automated model: Finactiq’s proprietary algorithm flags buy and sell signals based on shifting market data, giving users a systematic, repeatable edge.

  • Multi-asset advantage: Advanced analytics cover equities, ETFs, and more, enabling sophisticated portfolio allocation.

At its core, Finactiq’s objective is simple: the creation and protection of wealth.

Getting Started

Welcome to Finactiq. This section walks you through everything you need to do once — from creating your account to receiving your first signal. It takes about five minutes.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Sign up at finactiq.com and choose your plan. A 14-day free trial is available on all plans — no credit card required.

Once you've signed up, you'll land on your Finactiq dashboard for the first time. Before anything else, go to Profile Settings and do two things:

  • Set your timezone — Finactiq's signals are generated after each market close, so getting your timezone right ensures your signals and alerts land at the correct time for you.

  • Choose your theme — pick light or dark mode, whichever you prefer to work in.

Step 2: Build Your Watchlist

Your watchlist is the heart of Finactiq — it tells the engine which stocks to track, analyze, and send you signals for. Everything personalized to you starts here.

You have two ways to add stocks:

Option A — Create a watchlist and add symbols manually: When creating the watchlist, just add symbols and give the list a name.

Option B — Add from a chart When viewing any stock's chart inside Finactiq, click the "Add to Watchlist" button directly from the chart view. Useful when you've found something interesting while browsing.

A few tips on building a good watchlist:

  • Start with symbols you already know and follow — familiar names are easier to act on when a signal comes in

  • Don't add too many at once. 10–20 stocks is a good starting point; a focused watchlist gives you clearer, more actionable signals.

  • You can add or remove stocks at any time — your watchlist is never locked in.

  • Make sure to set your Outlook and Email reminder preferences.

Timeframes

Trade at your own pace

Finactiq works on end-of-day and end-of-week data.

  • The daily model runs after the US market closes (4pm EST).

  • The weekly model runs after the US market closes on Fridays.

After each model refreshes, the data and performance stats update in the online dashboard, and email notifications go out for execution on the following trading day.

Every day (or week), each symbol in Finactiq’s data universe is assigned one of four labels:

  • Cash: the model is not holding a position on this symbol.

  • Long: the model has an open position on this symbol; you can track its performance in the data.

  • Buy: a buy signal, to be executed the following day. The symbol switches from Cash to Long.

  • Sell: a sell signal, to be executed the following day. The symbol switches from Long to Cash.

All trades are executed at the market open.

How It Works

Three steps, about ten minutes a day

Finactiq is built around a simple, repeatable workflow. Whether you check in daily or weekly, the sequence is always the same — starting with the big picture, we apply a top down approach down to trade execution.

It takes minutes, not hours.

Step 1: Read the Market

Open your dashboard and check the market sentiment reading for the different Asset Types. This tells you the engine's overall read on the market right now — bullish, bearish, or neutral. Follow with sector view. Find which sectors are in an up cycle and which symbols are leading the move.

Step 2: Check Your Watchlist (or wait for the email)

Your watchlist shows a signal for every stock you're tracking — Buy, Long, Sell, or Cash — updated after the last market close.

Look for anything that's changed since your last session. New signal? Trend shift? That's where your attention goes. If context is needed- check the news feed.

Keep your watchlist current — add stocks you spotted in the sector view, remove anything that no longer fits.

Step 3: Act

Execute it on your preferred platform.

Features

Every feature in this section is available in both Daily and Weekly views, so the experience matches each user’s preferred cadence.

Dashboard

Dashboard is the starting point of the Finactiq experience.

Snapshot

Where the market stands right now

Daily & Weekly

The Snapshot shows where the model’s sentiment stands today, plus how that compares over the past 12 months. Sentiment is expressed as a percentage from 0–100%, representing the share of symbols currently in a Long or Buy position out of the total universe.

By default, the Snapshot covers all sectors, but you can select an individual sector for a more specific read. This makes it possible to track how trades rotate between sectors: one sector winding down its cycle just as another is entering a new one. Learning to read this rotation is one of the most powerful ways to anticipate where the next opportunity is building.

Sectors

Performance, broken down

Daily & Weekly

The Sectors view gives a full breakdown of current trades and performance across every sector, with full transparency into how the model is actually performing. Track metrics like trade profit, trade duration, average win %, and average loss % at the sector level, then drill down from sectors into industries and individual symbols for a closer look. You can drill down from Sector to Industry to Symbols to find your opportunities.

Screeners

Find new ideas fast

Daily & Weekly

Search more than 3,000 US stocks and ETFs to surface opportunities worth watching. Filter and refine your results to build a shortlist worth adding to your watchlist.Like watchlists, screeners can be saved so you don’t have to rebuild your criteria from scratch. Come back any time to re-run a saved screen with fresh results. The number you can save depends on your plan: 1 on Basic, 5 on Pro, and unlimited on Elite.

Research

Dig into the fundamentals

Daily & Weekly

Go beyond the signal with company profiles, earnings data, and financial ratios for the stocks you’re tracking, giving you everything you need to understand the fundamentals behind the momentum.

News

Stay on top of the headlines

Daily & Weekly

See the latest headlines for every stock on your watchlist in one place, so you’re never caught off guard by news driving a move.

Watchlists

Track what matters to you

Daily & Weekly

There are two ways to build a watchlist. Add symbols directly if you already know what you want to track, or pull trades straight from a screener when the model surfaces something worth watching. Depending on your plan, track up to 10, 50, or an unlimited number of symbols across multiple watchlists.

Emails

One email, one clear signal

Daily & Weekly

After market close, get a quick sentiment summary plus a clear buy, sell, or sit-tight signal for every stock on your watchlist, delivered straight to your inbox, or switch to a weekly refresh if that fits your pace better.

Charts

Fully featured Area and Candle charts with supporting technicals, historical trades, and drawing tools.

Use the charts to validate a signal before acting — check the historical trade markers to see how the engine has performed on this stock over time, and use the drawing tools to map your own levels.

Executing Trades

From signal to trade

Once you have your signal, place the trade on your preferred trading platform the next day. Finactiq tells you what to do, and you stay in control of where and how the trade is placed.
